Back AI Lab Prompt

Voice DNA

Make Claude write in your voice. Paste a few samples, get back a structured profile you can reuse forever.

Most "write in my voice" prompts produce a flat caricature. This one doesn't. It analyses your writing across rhythm, vocabulary, structure, and tone - then returns a structured spec you can paste into any future Claude conversation. Drop the spec in once, and Claude writes like you for the rest of the chat.

01
A voice profile
Sentence rhythm, vocabulary signatures, structural moves, tone defaults - all observable, all specific.
02
Things you do / never do
The patterns that make your voice distinctive - and the things you'd never write.
03
A test passage
A short sample written in your voice, so you can verify the spec actually captures it.

1
Copy the prompt above. Open Claude (or use the button).
2
Paste it as your first message. Claude will ask for your writing samples.
3
Paste 3-5 samples. Recent posts, emails, captions, drafts - anything you've actually written. Don't overthink it.
4
Answer 2-3 follow-up questions. Claude will ask short, targeted questions before producing the spec.
5
Save the spec. Download the template, paste your generated spec into it. Use it as the first message in any future Claude conversation where you want to write in your voice.
Use real samples, not your "best" writing
The more honest the input, the more accurate the spec. Pick samples that reflect how you actually write day-to-day, not the ones you spent an hour polishing.
Mix formats if you have them
A LinkedIn post, a casual email, a blog paragraph - different formats reveal different parts of your voice. The wider the sample, the richer the spec.
Refine over time
Your first spec will be good but not perfect. Edit it. Cross out anything that doesn't sound like you. Add things you noticed it missed. Voice DNA is a living document.
